ParYve on Nachhaltigleben.de
We just got a lovely post on nachhaltigleben.de. Take a look on their page and you will find many great themes which should be a guideline for everybody's thoughts about nature and how we can share our life with eachother.. Don't forget to follow them on their facebook page as well!
Zeit wieder in uns aufblühen.

Living in a nutshell
My brother sends me pictures from time to time and makes me smile.. a few days ago I got this one and he inspired me to post it.. sometimes only small things can make you think about general questions.
Guess we are living all in a nutshell and can't even imagine how much more the world is.. how stunning, how faithful and breathtaking. So why don't we take a look over the edge and discover what is so beautiful? Make our own little world even brighter while spending some time to really enjoy being happy - just simply and purely satisfied with the things we have?
Really love his photography of all the little things in different perspectives! Take a look at his work and follow him on facebook to see what he is up to next..

Sneak peak of the fall/winter story..
"Skin white as snow, lips red as blood, and hair black as ebony." These few words have a lot of meaning for our upcoming collection.
We just finished the photoshoot for the next collection, which is completely sewn in Germany. Some of you guys already had the chance to take a look at it and we are glad that you like it... for all others - be surprised! Some more pictures are waiting just around the bend!
The Brothers Grimm take part in our autumn winter collection with some fairytale styles!

Making of FW12
Today we want to share some making of pictures from our latest photoshoot with you.. It was so much fun and we had an amazing team again! Special thanks and kisses to Anja, my friend and beautiful ParYve model who is such a delightful person, Boris and Patrick who shoot the photos and take care about the light and my man who is always there whenever I might get lost within my thoughts...
We also had a beautiful white horse, which was so tamely and posed like a professional model in front of the cameras. Afterwards, we saw animals who told us stories and guided us deep into the forest until we found a magical place with birch trees and a hazing sunset.
Can't wait to show you the final results within next weeks!

Restaurant Ocui
A few weeks ago I had a meeting with our button supplier here in Munich. It was one of the first sunny days this year and we discovered a nice restarurant right next to the Viktualienmarkt. It's called Ocui like "open cuisine". You can watch how they prepare your food and they use only fresh ingredients for it.. and look at the lights - would be a great construction for my pattern table as well! Anybody out there who can build me one?

coffee shop
We really have nice places here in Munich to just relax and drink a coffee with friends. One of the favorites is the Cafe Marais @ Parkstrasse 2. The amazing interieur is from an old haberdashery shop with many little drawers for buttons and yarns. You can still find some treasures in there, besides all the delicious cake variations...

René Gruau
just have seen an article in the newspaper about this fashion exhibition these days in the BMW Museum. The great illustrations of René Gruau between some great old and historic cars which I would love to see on the streets again!
I know it's gonna be a long blog entry but I can't make a choice which one is the best to show... so here is a selection of my favorites:
"1947 When, following the end of Worl War II, the metropolis on the Seine sees an explosion of enthusiasm for fashion and the art, it is above all Christian Dior who captures the interest of the public with his "New Look". René Gruau - who has been friendly with him for several years - becomes his illustrative "alter ego", from then on translating Dior fashion into drawings and designing the advertising for all Dior perfumes. Gruau is on friendly terms with almost all the great fashion designers of his time and has worked for Harper's Bazaar, Look, Flair, Esquire and Adam. His drawings are sought after throughout the luxury industrie. When in the mid-'sixties fashion photography starts to replace drawn illustration in the top fashion and women's magazines, Gruau is one of the few masters of his trade to continue working for Dior, Lido and various magazines."
I know it's gonna be a long blog entry but I can't make a choice which one is the best to show... so here is a selection of my favorites:
