ParYve has found a new home

ParYve is now firstly available at "Fräulein Helene", a very beautiful boutique here in Munich. Elisabeth is the owner and such a nice and talented person. The opening ceremony was on Friday and we were so happy to be invited to it. Here are some sneak peaks.

Hide and seek

Every 6 month another adventure starts with a plain white paper. New ideas and inspirations are moving in front of my eyes even while sleeping. Within a few weeks there are sketches and colour ideas, but one of the most important things are the fabrics. The fabric must give me a kind of love when it slips through my hand. Thinking about how the related style would look like, rounded out by accessoiries, brings a happy feeling. Everything is shaping out over the time and it's always a thrill to see the result.
An important part of all this is visiting fabric fairs. Here we are at the Munich Fabric Start to talk with new suppliers and old friends... and of course to find fabrics for the new season Spring Summer 2013.

A short story about our lovely labels

It was a funny and exciting part getting the labels developed. We needed to think about the best layout for each style and at which position the label might look best. Finding a decision about the color is a crazy part because the yarn looks different when it's a loose thread or finally woven. Beside this our logo is not that easy to produce with all the fine outlines - challenging for everyone. We are so happy with the final result and the really great work of our supplier and friend.
